EAST LONDON PRESS follows up the Times report on Brown benefit show staged at Stratford 'town hall' yesterday

EAST LONDOIN PRESS report on the STRATFORD 'town hall' do for Brown's benefit

0500 Hrs GMT
London Monday 8 June 2009

Brown cannot be serious if he thinks that the benefit show staged for him at Stratford 'town hall' yesterday will be the main look or sound of the 'people' across even East London in the days to come.

Why?

Like the rest of the country, people in East London are also susceptible to propaganda and hype. And to the promptings and realities of life.

The British media will run the intense campaign today to force Brown to go.

What can any of the licensed praisers of Brown at the Stratford do of yesterday do today to stem that?

What is even worse, what can they do when it is clear that the Labour Party nominees and career-couriers on the local Councils are empty of substance?

And who wants Harriet Harman to visit them ?

What difference will that kind of stunt make towards paying the bill?

Poverty of the MPs is in the grotesque shamelessness... and petty greed
EAST LONDON PRESS says at 0510 Hrs on Tuesday 31 March 2009: It is not just Harry Cohen, the east London MP who used to flaunt a faker beard and spout strings of calculated socialistic confections... Having lost BOTH in order to stay on the bandwagon, Cohen seems to have also lost any sense of rationality. And dignity. How else could he be saying those things, comparing himself to Churchill in that way? There were indeed many flaws in Churchill’s life and character. But Harry Cohen is not remotely convincing as a comparable Member of Parliament...Or as a member of society... What Cohen’s banal boast tells us about him is that he belongs to a parliament of political, mental, moral pigmies with no evident shame...
